We are currently actively prosecuting over 2000 patent applications, 220 Patent Oppositions, Revocations and Litigation matters. In the past one year we have attended more than 600 hearings through video conferencing.

We have obtained over 3000 Foreign Filing Licenses for Indian inventors, handled 220 Pre-grant and Post-grant Oppositions, 65 Patent Appeals, and IP Infringement litigation cases in the last 3 years.



In TRADEMARKS, we specialise in Searches, Opinion, Prosecution, Oppositions, Cancellations and Litigation.

We have a robust trademark opposition and litigation practice of over 50 years, and office presence within the jurisdictions of the major High Courts in India in Delhi, Bombay, Madras and Calcutta.

We have over 15 Trademark Attorneys and Advocates in our Trademarks and Litigation department, with experience ranging from 2 to 30+ years, and 12 highly qualified and experienced Paralegals, Managers and Support Staff.

We have handled/are handling 35,000+ trademark applications, 3000+ International Applications under the Madrid Protocol, 11,000+ trademark opposition matters, 2500+ trademark rectification matters before the Registrar of Trademarks, and 500+ enforcement matters, before the Registrar of Companies (trade names), the High Courts (trademark infringement and passing off), domain name complaints/ arbitration, and IPR proceedings before the Customs, in India.

We have excellent case preparation capabilities which has translated to a high success rate (99%). We have successfully handled over 350 trademark litigation matters for our international and domestic clients, in the last 25 years, including achieving several “well-known mark” decisions, namely for the brands ZARA, NIVEA, CALVIN KLEIN, HONDA, CANON, CITIZEN, among others, in India.
